Hey race fans,

Well we hope you have all had a safe winter and hope this unsettled economy isn't going to keep you away from the awesome dirt racing coming up real soon. We at Kendrick Racing have had a busy winter preparing for the 2009 racing season and have made some amazing changes to our race team for this coming season.

Tim Jones will pilot a car for us again this year where we will replace his number 15j  with the # 5star to match up with our sponsor Global Warranty fantastic warranty package. Tim will run his 2008 Bicknell chassis with all new components with a brand new power plant from Jeff Nichols of Nichols-Hepp out of Lockport NY, Jeff did some late season work for us in 2008 and Tim and Jeff seem to have a great future going into this season.

I will again pilot the # 55 Strickland Automart / GTA golf club / London golf club car, this car is a new 2009 Bicknell Chassis and will carry the 2008 engine that Jeff Nichols put together late in the 2008 season. This being my sophmore year I am looking forward to getting strapped in back at it hoping to improve my results from last year.
 
The biggest news for the Kendrick Racing family is that we have a new shoe joining our bunch this year and he needs no introduction, he is no stranger to 358 small block race fans as he is none other than Danny O'Brien from Kingston, On. Danny brings an amazing record to our team and he will be sitting in his new 2009 Bicknell Chassis with his new Morrison Performance powerplant. Danny will also see a number change this year to coincide with his new sponsor Global Warranty elite package available for automotive warranties, he will pilot the 7star for Kendrick racing and will carry the Global Warranty / 1000 Island RV / Pats Rad banners. 

The race team will see Timmy running his 5 star at Merrittville every saturday night and also will take the Global Warranty ride to the 358 dirt series shows, I will pilot my # 55 Saturday nights at Merrittville Speedway and occasionally hit the New Humberstone speedway for Sunday night action as the 358's are back to the Port Colburne speedway after an 8 year absence. Danny will drive for his 4th consectutive track championship at the Brockville Speedway saturday nights as well will try to top hi s 2 years in a row finishing 2nd overall in the super dirt 358 championship. 

We are just around the corner from getting the cars fired up and head to the tracks, keep an eye on the website for more pictures of the new rides. Dan's car is on there now as you can see, we should have Tim's up next couple of days and mine shortly behind that.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank so many people for with out them none of this would be at all possible. First Roy Neufert and his staff at Global Warranty in London Ontario they have followed up last year with another amazing package for Kendrick Racing to do what we all want to do, he is also very excited about the 7star and the 5star  cars this year and you can catch the Global Warranty night at Merrittville Speedway on May 9th  and again on Aug 1st at Brockville Speedwa y.
Secondly I would like to thank Matt Williamson of GTA golf club / LONDON golf club / PPS technology, Matt is a very hard working man who allows me to have my # 55 car each and every year, he has been my sponsor for 5 years now not many can say that.

My final thoughts are for several individuals who usually get left out but here they are, Rob Hanson our website designer/administrator/photographer. Rob thanks so much with out your continued support of Kendrick Racing none of us would be reading any of this. Lise/Colin at Leaf racewear for your continued help in keeping us safe and looking good too. The staff at BRP who build us some very nice and safe cars so we can let it all hang out, this also includes the Pete's Automotive gang as they cont ribute plenty. Erica Bicknell for her constant work for Kendrick Racing, helping us put together the PR packages for our sponsors nights, suite arrangements, and anything else I really don't know or just plain forget. The final most important thanks is to all of our families who put up with this addiction we all have to go racing, with out their amazing love and support we wouldn't get to enjoy this great sport/hobby like we do.
